A-type-ical Conference

This program is a part of a larger concept design for the  “A-type-ical Conference: Counter Culture.” Taking place in Portland, Oregon, this conference highlighted designers most known for their hand-drawn typefaces and organic aesthetic. The busy, screenprinted look of this program is influenced by the “zine” culture prominent throughout the Northwest. This program is 22 pages long, and bound using a techinque that requires no glue or adhesive of any kind. It is 6” x 4”.

Along with the program, I was also responsible for the design of two variations of a poster advertising the type conference, and lanyards that would be worn to the event, as seen below.
